On June 8-9, 2026, we joined with Save Your Thyroid™ to organize advanced hands-on course on thyroid RFA ablation, led by Dr. Giovanni Mauri, Prof. Luca Maria Sconfienza, and Dr. Pierluigi Glielmo at Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, Italy.
Clinical Cases
In addition to lectures and hands-on, ex vivo ablation training, participants from around the world observed five clinical cases:
- 3 benign thyroid nodules
- 1 recurrence of a papillary thyroid carcinoma
- 1 TIR3 nodule
Our Commitment to Clinical Education
Cambridge Interventional provided the CRF High-Power RFA system to support the clinical cases and hands-on session. The system allows the operator to perform procedures quickly and with the highest level of control and user feedback, supporting safe and effective thyroid treatments.
The international participants could explore different thyroid pathologies and treatment strategies hands-on, highlighting the system’s versatility, accuracy, and safety in the various clinical scenarios.
